How to Book a Flight with Air Canada?
Online Booking
- Visit www.aircanada.com and select your trip type (round-trip, one-way, or multi-city).
- Enter your travel details such as departure and arrival locations, dates, and number of passengers.
- Click “Find Flights” to view available flights.
- Select your preferred flight and fare.
- Add extras like baggage, seat selection, or travel insurance if needed.
- Log in to your Air Canada account or continue as a guest.
- Provide passenger details and complete payment using a card or other available methods.
- Your confirmation ticket will be sent to your email address.
Offline Booking
- Visit your nearest Air Canada sales or ticket office.
- Provide travel details such as destinations, dates, and schedules to the agent.
- Review available flights and prices shared by the agent.
- Select your preferred flight and request additional services like meals or extra baggage if required.
- Provide passenger details and complete payment using accepted methods (cash or card).
- Receive your printed itinerary or ticket confirmation at the counter.
Baggage Policy
Carry-On Baggage
Each passenger is allowed one carry-on bag with dimensions not exceeding 55 cm x 23 cm x 40 cm (21.5" x 9" x 15.5"). Personal items such as shopping bags, camera bags, or small pet carriers must fit under the seat in front of you. There is no weight restriction for carry-on bags. Passengers traveling with a baby are allowed one additional carry-on bag.

Check-In Details
Online Check-In
Online check-in is available 24 hours before departure. It closes 45 minutes before departure for domestic flights and 60 minutes before for international flights. You’ll need your passport details and booking reference to check in online.
Airport Check-In
Self-service kiosks at the airport allow check-in up to 12 hours before departure. Check-in closes 45 minutes prior to domestic flights and 60 minutes prior to international flights. Passengers are advised to arrive at the airport early to avoid delays. The airline reserves the right to deny boarding for late arrivals at the gate.
