Baggage Policy
Cabin Baggage
Passengers may carry one cabin bag (up to 55 cm x 35 cm x 25 cm) and one personal item such as a handbag, laptop case, or small backpack. The total combined weight must not exceed 12 kg in Economy or 18 kg in Business/La Première. Passengers traveling with infants may also bring one additional bag for baby essentials.
Checked Baggage
Baggage allowance depends on your route and cabin class. Economy passengers are usually entitled to 1 checked bag up to 23 kg, while Business and La Première passengers enjoy greater allowances. Additional baggage can be purchased online at discounted rates before departure.
Check-In Information
Online Check-In
Air France offers online check-in 30 hours before departure (except for flights from the U.S. where it opens 24 hours before). You’ll need your booking reference or e-ticket number along with your passport details. Boarding passes can be saved digitally or printed at home.
Airport Check-In
Self-service kiosks and staffed counters are available at most airports. Check-in closes 40 minutes prior to departure for domestic European flights and 60 minutes for long-haul international flights. Early arrival at the airport is recommended to allow smooth boarding and security clearance.
